The basics.

Why use gummy supplements? +

Gummy supplements can be more convenient and offer a better overall experience than traditional supplements. No hassle, no need to swallow large pills, and no drink required. Plus, almost all of absorption of nutrients happens in your gut, so chewing the gummies signals your body to start the process of digestion.

Do gummies work? +

Yes, they work.

Just in a somewhat different way than we are used to. This is how I laid it out it to my dad, who is the brightest man I know but is sceptical and dislikes change: Children's products must comply with the most rigorous standards in any country. 'Chewable supplements' were developed for children and have been on the market for over 50 years, so this is not a 'new thing'. The only difference is that these are for grownups.

Are gummy supplements safe? +

Yes, they are as safe as anything else you will take. Make sure to read the recommendations and warnings for each product, as some of them contain things like vitamin A, which cannot be used while pregnant. However, this is not a gummy specific rule; it is a supplement one, that applies to tablets, capsules, beverages, and other formats.

Is the packaging recyclable? +

Yup. The tubs are made with 30% recycled material, and are fully, kerb side recyclable so You can just lob it in the recycling when you are done.

founder note - I keep (some) of my tubs and use them around the house, or I give them to the nursery where my sister works so they can make things with them, and most importantly to keep crayons in.

Where do you ship? +

Almost anywhere, however if you want to double-check before ordering, email us at info@doselabs.co.uk.

Can I amend my order? +

Generally, sure, if you email straight away, however it depends on when you place your order.
Our warehouse picks and packs orders from 2pm every day, and they ship at 4pm,
so if you order between 2 and 4pm, there is a chance it will be too late to change, but give it a shot, and we will always try to help!

How do i track my order? +

We send tracking information to you as soon as the order is packed and ready to collect so you can follow the journey. If you haven’t gotten that yet or think it's taking too long, then please email info@doselabs.co.uk with your order number, and we can get it figured out for you.

What is your return policy? +

Our first goal is to satisfy our consumers with the best
tasting and effective products. Considering health and food safety compliance
management, we cannot accept returns of perishable goods bought on our site.

For non-food products, we appreciate your comments and should you find a service or product that falls short of your expectations, let our team know so we can take a look at it by contacting info@doselabs.co.uk This has no effect on your statutory consumer rights.

Please note, all issues must be raised within 30 days of placing the order.

Product Questions.

Do I need to take them at specific times of the day? +

Products like Snooze are best taken at around the time you plan to go to sleep; however, most of our range can be taken when it works for you.

Can I take more than one product a day? +

Generally speaking, yes, you can stack your dose labs products however you want (as long as you follow the intake guidelines on the pack), but when mixing them with other brands, it’s always good to just double-check with a doctor.

The only products with a specific warning about taking that supplement with another are Jump Start and Snooze. This is because they both contain zinc, for which there is a daily intake limit for adults of 40 mg.

However, if you took a full dose (2 gummies) of both Snooze and Jump Start, you would only be consuming 13 mg of zinc citrate, which is well below the limit and generally considered safe, but again, double-check with a doctor.

Are your gummies suitable for children? +

Honestly, the gummies are not made for children, and the recommendation for usage is written for adults. This product is for you (the parent or guardian); be selfish and enjoy it for yourself. 

When giving any supplements to children that arent intended for them, speak to your doctor or health care professional first.

Why do you use sugar? +

This is a long one so stick with us – its likely this question refers to what is known in the industry as a ‘free sugar’.

A free sugar is any sugar added to food/drinks by manufacturers or sugars naturally present in honey, syrups, and unsweetened fruit juices. Experts advise us not to consume more than 30 g of sugar per day, which equates to 30 g of free sugars.

 

Let's make a simple comparison:
+ On average, freshly squeezed unsweetened orange juice has 9.29 g of free sugars per 100 ml.
+ On average our gummies have about 1.8 g in them.

So, for perspective, our gummies have less sugar in them than 25 ml (that’s a single shot measure) of orange juice.

Ultimately, our goal is to make products that help people change their habits and feel better for it, and like most things, it’s about moderation and the occasional reality check.

Subscriptions.

How much do i save? +

That all depends on what plan you are on, but you will save between 20% and 35%. These savings may change based on when you joined us or promotional offers, but we always try to give you the best savings.

When will my subscription renew? +

Your order will renew on the calendar on the same date that your original order was placed. For example, if you ordered on the 27th of February, your recurring order would process on the 27th of March and so on, until you cancel. Btw we take the payment at 9am on the renew date.

Can I make changes to my subscription? +

For sure! You can pause, skip, and change your order up to 48 hours in advance of your scheduled renewal date. to ensure we are able to process them in time. We can’t guarantee that changes will be applied if they are made after this time, but if anything goes wrong, get in touch.

If you make a change to your order on the day your plan is due to process, those changes will only apply to the next scheduled delivery and not the order on its way to you.

Please note - if you email us about changing your subscription and that change involves adjusting the amount we charge your account we have to send you an email asking you to confirm which is annoying for us both but we have to be safe!

If you don’t receive the login code, you may need to make an account first, or it’s a different email to the one you used to set up the original order. (I'm always signing up for stuff using my work email by mistake.)
